Its my last day in Sao Paulo. This night I spent 5 hours in the hospital. Before, I felt kind of sick, but I figured it would just be a flu after my perhaps a bit overenthusiastic idea of making a New Years Dive and then spending the rest of the night at the beach.
However, after 2 days of feeling really weak and sick, without being able to eat, my friends forced me to go to the hospital. You know what? I´ve got a beach virus. Symptoms: fever, no appetite, stomache ache, extreme weakness, dizziness, vomit, and stuff like that... The doctor told me to drink a lot of coconuts.
Come again? Coconuts as a cure for a beach virus? Only in Brasil :P I´ll miss this crazy country.
Anyway Im on my way back home!

OMG, wat erg om te horen dat je in ziekenhuis lag ^_^ Wel goed om te horen dat kokoswater (iono wat Nederlandse term is btw) ook helpt tegen diarree in India :O Wel lieve kamergenoten vandaag!
Anyways, hoop dat je goede reis terug hebt en gauw beter wordt (als je niet al beter bent ^_^).

you got sick? So bad to hear that, but the Brazil beach virus cured by Coconuts and the New years dive are probably worth it :)

Miss Claudia, I just happened to stop by your page and you got SICK????????? And yes, coconuts are the cure for everything. Humberto, his father, and I came down with a terrible fever, lack of apetite, etc.. as well. I thought it was dengue and got really worried, but we drank coconut milk and all got better in about a week. Haha Oh Brazil. Hope all is going well! I miss seeing you! -
